Doctor of Physical Therapy | Orthopedic & Pelvic Health Physical Therapy | Certified in Dry Needling
Michelle brings a comprehensive approach to physical therapy, combining orthopedic rehabilitation, pelvic health, and advanced hands-on manual therapy to provide individualized care for a wide range of musculoskeletal and pelvic health conditions. With a strong foundation in outpatient orthopedics, she specializes in treating orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, movement dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum-related conditions, and pelvic pain. Her passion lies in helping patients restore function, regain confidence in their bodies, and return to the activities they enjoy.
Committed to clinical excellence and continuing education, Michelle has pursued advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy and pelvic health, including ongoing work toward her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) and Pelvic Health Certifications (CPHC). She is also certified in trigger point dry needling (CDNT) and incorporates a variety of specialized hands-on treatments, including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, cupping, dry needling, and therapeutic taping.
Michelle believes effective physical therapy extends well beyond exercise alone. Her treatment philosophy emphasizes patient education, thoughtful clinical assessment, and personalized, hands-on care to address the underlying contributors to pain and dysfunction. She enjoys working with patients through all stages of life, empowering them to achieve lasting improvements in mobility, function, and overall well-being.
Originally from Mississippi, Michelle attended the University of Mississippi before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. She moved to Nashville in 2020, where she began her career in outpatient orthopedics before expanding her clinical expertise into pelvic health physical therapy.
Outside of the clinic, Michelle enjoys spending time with her husband, child, and their Australian Shepherds. She loves spending time outdoors, cooking, and making memories with family and friends.
